The moment has finally arrived! You can now buy your copy of The Race Against TIme on Amazon.com. This story is a fictional account of the first semester of my senior year. While the vast majority of the story is true, minor fictional elements were added to heighten the drama. I really enjoyed my days running cross country for the university I attended. One of my biggest regrets was not discovering my love for the sport back in high school.
What begins as a story about the sport of cross country slowly transitions into a love story when a first term freshman girl catches my eye. Success and failure in both romance and sport follow, giving credence to the saying, “truth is often stranger than fiction.” I laughed and I cried as I was writing this novel. I came to the realization that I am a better person today because of my cross country running experience and having met a freshman girl my senior year.
