I have some exciting news I’d like to share. Sometime after Labor Day, 2025, I will be launching a new book titled, The Race Against Time. It’s my first foray into Fiction. You can find a synopsis of the novel below.

The Race Against Time is a coming-of-age story set in 1979 at an unnamed Christian university. This fictional story is inspired by true events and chronicles the cross-country running experience of fifth-year senior, Carson. He joins the team on a whim as a walk-on hoping to letter in the sport before time runs out on his senior year. As the season unfolds Carson is introduced to Paige, a freshman nursing student. The two of them embark on a stormy relationship filled with twists and turns. Unexpected humor is injected into the story by the antics of Carson and his roommate, Mr. Trees, as they attempt to make the last year of their college experience memorable. The Race Against Time is rife with themes, including overcoming adversity, friendship, love, forgiveness, and what it truly means to follow God.
