Here’s a 1972 Dodge Demon that makes several appearances in my upcoming book, The Race Against Time. Equipped with a 340 engine in could really move. Carson was worried that one day while he was racing the Demon, it might be the end of his existence.

In many ways it was his security blanket, a sanctuary that enveloped him with power and speed. It was a symbol of his recent success, rising from a high school shy guy to a college student willing to go after the things that he wanted. Would it become a thorn in his side as he tries to embrace his future with Paige.
